FAQ

AI skin analysis, answered

How does AI skin analysis work?

You take a selfie in the Skinalyze AI app and the AI reads your facial skin across six metrics: hydration, oil balance, pores, texture, pigmentation and sensitivity. It combines that with your age, skin type and goals to produce a skin score and a personalised morning and evening routine. Your first analysis is free.

Is AI skin analysis accurate?

It gives a consistent, structured read of what your skin shows in good lighting, useful for understanding your skin and tracking change over time. It is an educational estimate, not a medical assessment, and results vary with lighting and photo quality.

Is the skin analysis free?

Yes. Skinalyze AI is free to download and your first skin analysis is free. Further scans are available through optional in-app credit packs.

Does it replace a dermatologist?

No. Skinalyze AI is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition. It offers educational insights about your skin. For any medical concern, see a qualified dermatologist.

What phones does it support?

Skinalyze AI is available on iPhone (iOS 16 and later). An Android version is not available yet.
